RECEPTIVE VISUALIZATIONS
These two shaped canvases are both elongated hexagons. They are actually
the same shape, but imagined in motion, or varying states of flux. The
face of each canvas has layers of silver on silver paint that echo
the perimeter form. The bottom canvas, "A Receptive Visualization for
Extrasensory Perception" dimensionally moves away from the wall. While
the square center anchors the wall, two triangular sides wing-out on
hinges. The reverse of these sides is also wrapped in canvas and painted
a with a high-intensity paint that radiates onto the wall. The long slender
forms appear to hover and radiate light.
